Air Fryer Poached Eggs

A foolproof, hands-off way to get perfectly set whites and silky yolks in minutes.

  • Total Time: 17 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • Cooking spray or olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 270°F (130°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Lightly coat a small heat-proof bowl or ramekin with cooking spray or olive oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Crack one egg into the prepared bowl. Repeat for additional eggs, ensuring the bowls do not touch in the air fryer.
  4. Season each egg with salt and pepper.
  5. Carefully place the bowl in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook at 270°F (130°C) for about 10–12 minutes, adjusting time for preference in yolk firmness.
  7. Remove the bowl carefully using oven mitts.
  8. Serve immediately on toast or a plate; garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Greas ramekins can be prepped and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before cooking.
