- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips or bite-size pieces
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 oz) tube crescent roll dough
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture onto each crescent roll triangle, add a piece of chicken, and roll it up.
- Place the rolled chicken pillows in a greased baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer.
- Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken pillows.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider adding a slice of mozzarella inside each pillow. Can be prepared ahead of time and baked when ready.
