- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 (9 oz) package cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated preferred)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Stir in the shredded chicken and cheese tortellini until well combined.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours, checking at the 4-hour mark for tortellini tenderness.
- About 10 minutes before serving, stir in the mozzarella cheese and allow it to melt into the sauce.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Use cooked shredded chicken to save time. Fresh or refrigerated tortellini works best. Stir gently when adding cheese to avoid breaking the tortellini.
