- 12 baked chocolate cupcakes (cooled)
- 1½ to 2 cups chocolate frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- 12 pretzel twists (small sturdy pretzels)
- 24 candy eyes
- 12 red candy-coated chocolates
- 2 tablespoons chocolate sprinkles or mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare and bake the chocolate cupcakes according to your recipe or package instructions. Allow them to cool completely on a wire rack before decorating.
- Spread a thick layer of chocolate frosting over each cooled cupcake.
- Break each pretzel twist in half and gently press them into the top of the cupcake to create antlers.
- Press two candy eyes into the frosting below the antlers.
- Place one red candy just below the eyes and press it into the frosting.
Notes
Use sturdy pretzel twists for the antlers and ensure the frosting is firm enough to hold decorations. Decorate just before serving to keep the pretzels crisp.
