- 1 block firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into cubes.
- In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated tofu and toss to coat.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the tofu cubes to the skillet and cook until crispy and golden brown on all sides, about 5–7 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For meal prep, press and cut the tofu 24 hours ahead, and marinate it in the fridge. Cooked tofu keeps for 3–4 days.
