Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 tsp)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Aluminum foil for packets
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400–425°F).
- Trim the woody ends and lay asparagus in a single layer on a sheet of aluminum foil.
- Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper, then toss gently to coat.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan evenly over the asparagus and fold the foil into a sealed packet.
- Place the foil packet on the grill and cook for 10–15 minutes, until asparagus is tender-crisp.
- Carefully remove the packet, open away from your face, and serve warm right from the foil.
Notes
Choose medium-thickness asparagus for the best texture; very thin stalks may overcook. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
