- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat so itβs hot enough to char the asparagus.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic; cook until fragrant, about 1β2 minutes.
- Place the trimmed asparagus on a plate and pour the garlic butter over them, tossing to coat evenly.
- Season the asparagus with salt and pepper to taste.
- Grill the asparagus for about 5β7 minutes, turning occasionally until tender and slightly charred.
- Remove from the grill and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
Choose uniform stalks so they cook evenly; thicker stalks need a bit more time. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
