Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for marinating steak and shrimp)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt (to taste)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sirloin steak with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then set aside.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in parsley, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.
- Thread the marinated steak and shrimp onto skewers, alternating between the two. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400–450°F). Grill the skewers for about 3–4 minutes on each side, until the steak reaches desired doneness and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove from the grill and drizzle garlic butter sauce over the skewers before serving.
Notes
Use room-temperature meat and shrimp before grilling for even cooking. Watch shrimp closely to prevent overcooking.
