- 1 cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 3–4 flavors Jello Gelatin Powder
- 1/4 cup Additional Sugar for Rolling
- Sprinkles (for topping)
- 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg until fully combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until well blended.
- Fold in your chosen flavors of Jello powder until evenly dispersed.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough and roll into balls, then roll them in the additional sugar.
- Arrange the dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Add sprinkles on top if desired.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden. Let cool on a wire rack.
Notes
You can prepare the cookie dough in advance and refrigerate it for up to 3 days. Alternatively, freeze the unbaked dough for up to 3 months.
