- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup freshly squeezed key lime juice
- 1 tablespoon key lime zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled
- Extra graham cracker crumbs for topping
- Additional lime zest for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a trifle dish.
- In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, lime juice, zest, and vanilla.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the lime mixture.
- Layer half the lime mixture over the crust, sprinkle with more crumbs, then repeat. Top with extra crumbs and zest.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 120 minutes before serving.

Make ahead: assemble the trifle a day before and top with fresh zest for best texture.
