Korean Ground Beef Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Optional toppings: steamed broccoli, shredded carrots, sesame seeds, kimchi

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and any optional toppings of your choice.

Notes

For a spicier version, add gochujang or sriracha. To make it low-carb, serve over cauliflower rice.
