Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat so it reaches a good searing temperature.
- Trim the tough ends off the asparagus by snapping or cutting about 1–2 inches from the bottom.
- Make the marinade by combining 2 tablespoons olive oil, the lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper; whisk briefly until well blended.
- Coat the asparagus in the marinade until each spear is evenly coated.
- Grill asparagus for about 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.
- Finish by removing from grill, sprinkling with crumbled feta cheese, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use uniform-thickness spears for even cooking. Don’t over-marinate; a few minutes is enough.
