Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak tips, trimmed and partially frozen
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced into strips
  • 1 medium yellow onion, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (plus 1 tsp if needed for veggies)
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (freshly ground)
  • Chopped green onions (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Hot sauce or chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Slice the steak tips into thin strips.
  3. Chop the bell peppers and onion into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In a bowl, toss the steak with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the steak to the hot griddle and sear for a few minutes until browned.
  6. Add the chopped vegetables and stir-fry for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  7. Drizzle with soy sauce and cook for another minute.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your cowboy stir fry!

Notes

For a crispy-on-the-outside side, try serving with air-fried potatoes. Adjust seasoning to taste, especially the soy sauce.
