A crunchy, fresh appetizer that delivers sushi-bar flavors in easy handheld bites.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Fresh tuna, diced (about 8 oz)
  • Soy sauce (1–2 tbsp)
  • Sesame oil (1 tsp)
  • Creamy sauce (like spicy mayo or aioli — 2–3 tbsp)
  • Green onions, chopped (2 tbsp)
  • Cucumber, diced (1/2 cup)
  • Avocado, sliced (1 small or 1/2 large)
  • Sesame seeds (1 tsp)
  • Cilantro for garnish (a few sprigs)
  • Crispy wonton shells (about 24 shells)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine diced tuna, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped green onions. Mix well.
  2. Prepare the crispy wonton shells as per package instructions or fry them until golden brown.
  3. In each wonton shell, add a spoonful of the seasoned tuna mixture.
  4. Top with creamy sauce, diced cucumber, and avocado slices.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds and garnish with cilantro.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Assemble just before serving to keep shells crunchy and avocado fresh. Use sushi-grade tuna for safety.
