- 1 package of frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Cook the frozen cheese ravioli according to package instructions and let them cool.
- In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat an egg until well mixed.
- Dip each ravioli into the beaten egg, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture thoroughly.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until ready for frying.
- Fry the coated ravioli until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove the ravioli from the pan and drain them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping, and enjoy!
Notes
Pat ravioli dry after boiling to help the coating stick. Use fine breadcrumbs for even coverage.
