Ingredients
Scale
- 4–6 Banana Peppers, halved
- 1–2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 cup Cheese (optional, cheddar, mozzarella, or feta)
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the banana peppers in half and remove the seeds.
- Brush the inside of the peppers with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if desired.
- Place the peppers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes or until they are crispy and slightly charred.
- If using cheese, sprinkle it on top of the peppers in the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Serve warm as a snack or appetizer.
Notes
Use fresh, firm banana peppers for the best texture and flavor. Avoid overcrowding in the air fryer basket and let the peppers cool for a minute or two after cooking for easier handling.
