Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium Zucchini, fresh and firm
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil, can substitute with avocado oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt, adjust based on preference
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground for best flavor
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder, enhances savory flavor
- 1/2 teaspoon Paprika, smoked paprika can add depth
- Parmesan cheese, optional, to taste, sprinkle during the last baking minutes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 225°F (110°C).
- Slice the zucchinis thinly, about 1/8 inch thick, to ensure even baking.
- Toss the zucchini slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Arrange the zucchini slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Bake for about 90 to 120 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chips are golden and crispy.
- Add Parmesan cheese during the last 5 minutes of baking for added flavor, if desired.
- Cool before serving for the best crunch.
Notes
Ensure uniform slices with a mandoline slicer for even cooking. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to ensure crispiness.
