- 3 ounces Tequila blanco or reposado (Your preferred type for flavor)
- 1 ounce Triple sec (For a hint of orange flavor)
- ½ cup Coconut water (Keeps the marg light; can substitute with water)
- Juice of 2 limes Lime juice (Freshly squeezed for the best flavor)
- 1 ½ tablespoons Simple syrup or agave sweetener (To balance tartness)
- Chamoy (For garnish; gives that spicy kick)
- Tajín (To sprinkle on top; adds extra zing)
Instructions
- Blend the frozen mango, tequila, triple sec, coconut water, lime juice, and simple syrup in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more simple syrup or agave.
- Prepare the glasses by rimming them with chamoy and dipping them in Tajín for added flavor.
- Pour the blended mangonada into the prepared glasses and optionally garnish with additional chamoy and Tajín.
Notes
Use high-quality tequila for the best flavor. Serve immediately for the best slushy consistency.
