Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless pork chops (at least 1-inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (can substitute with vegetable or canola oil)
- 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground preferred)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked paprika adds depth)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (for garnish, chopped finely)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a small bowl.
- Rub both sides of the pork chops with olive oil and then season with the spice mixture.
- Place the pork chops on the grill or in the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side until golden brown.
- Flip the chops and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Ensure your cooking surface is hot enough for a good sear. Allow the pork chops to rest covered with foil for warmth before serving.
