- 4 ears Corn, husked, fresh corn recommended for best flavor
- 4 tablespoons Butter, melted; unsalted butter is preferable
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced; adjust to taste for garlic lovers
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the corn and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Mix together the melted butter and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Drain the corn and brush the garlic butter mixture over each ear of corn.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Use fresh corn for the best flavor. Add a pinch of sugar to the boiling water to enhance the sweetness.
