Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Ground chicken
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 Brioche buns, toasted
Instructions
- Brown the chicken in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink.
- Add the Cajun seasoning and continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
- Make the cheese sauce by melting the butter in a separate saucepan over medium heat, then whisk in the flour.
- Thicken the sauce by gradually adding the milk and stirring constantly until it reaches desired thickness.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
- Combine the chicken mixture into the cheese sauce, stirring well.
- Serve the mixture on toasted brioche buns immediately.
Notes
Use high-quality Cajun seasoning for the best flavor. Don’t rush the cheese sauce to ensure creaminess. Toasting the buns enhances flavor and texture.
