Cheddar Bay Beef Hamburger Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 can Cheddar Biscuit Mix
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Green Onions for Garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess fat.
  3. Combine the cooked beef mixture with the beef broth and half of the cheddar cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  5. Prepare the biscuit mix according to package instructions and spoon it over the beef mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Garnish with green onions if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra cheesy flavor, mix in some grated Parmesan cheese along with the cheddar. Serve with a side of steamed vegetables.
