- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1 can Cheddar Biscuit Mix
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Green Onions for Garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess fat.
- Combine the cooked beef mixture with the beef broth and half of the cheddar cheese in a large mixing bowl.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
- Prepare the biscuit mix according to package instructions and spoon it over the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Garnish with green onions if desired and serve warm.
Notes
For an extra cheesy flavor, mix in some grated Parmesan cheese along with the cheddar. Serve with a side of steamed vegetables.
