Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Ground chicken (Can substitute with turkey for a leaner option)
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil (Can use avocado oil for a different flavor)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder (Fresh garlic can be used if preferred)
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder (Freshly minced onions may work, but adjust quantity)
- Salt and pepper to taste (Adjust based on dietary restrictions)
- 2 cups Mixed salad greens (A variety of your choice can be used)
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes (Can substitute with diced regular tomatoes)
- 1 cup Cucumber (Diced for crunch; can use bell peppers as a substitute)
- 1 Avocado (Can be left out if fewer calories are desired)
- 1/4 cup Red onion (Choose green onions for a milder flavor)
- 1/4 cup Dressing (Any variety, Whole30-approved if necessary)
Instructions
- Combine ground chicken, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well-combined.
- Form the mixture into burger patties, ensuring they are uniform in size for even cooking.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Layer the salad greens first in a serving bowl, followed by the cooked chicken patties.
- Top with cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, sliced avocado, and red onion to complete the bowl.
- Drizzle with your favorite dressing and serve immediately for a fresh meal experience.
Notes
Avoid overmixing the chicken mixture to prevent dense patties. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
