  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Croissants, torn into pieces (stale croissants work best)
  • 2 cups Whole milk
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips (dark, semi-sweet, or white)
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add the torn croissants to the mixture and stir until they are well coated.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden brown.

Notes

Use stale croissants for the best texture. Allow the mixture to soak for at least 20 minutes before baking for richer flavor.
