Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Croissants, torn into pieces (stale croissants work best)
- 2 cups Whole milk
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 4 large Eggs
- 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Chocolate chips (dark, semi-sweet, or white)
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Mix together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add the torn croissants to the mixture and stir until they are well coated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Use stale croissants for the best texture. Allow the mixture to soak for at least 20 minutes before baking for richer flavor.
