Classic Chinese Stir-Fried Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 8 oz chow mein noodles (or other stir-fry noodles)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add bell peppers and carrots, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Stir in the bean sprouts and green onions, and cook for another minute.
  6. Add the cooked noodles and soy sauce, tossing everything together.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes
