Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup whole milk (or almond/oat milk for dairy-free)
- 1 cup ice
- 1/2 cup vanilla bean ice cream
- 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup (or 1 tsp vanilla extract + 1 tbsp simple syrup)
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Optional: a pinch of vanilla bean seeds or a dusting of cinnamon
Instructions
- Add milk, ice, vanilla bean ice cream, and vanilla syrup to a blender.
- Blend on high until very smooth and slightly thick, about 20–30 seconds.
- Taste and add a splash more milk if too thick, then blend another 5 seconds.
- Pour into a chilled glass, leaving room for whipped cream.
- Top with whipped cream, add a straw, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use very cold ingredients for optimal blending. For a lighter option, substitute ice cream with frozen yogurt. Enjoy immediately for the best texture.
