Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz Pasta (any type, choose your favorite variety)
- 1 lb Ground turkey (can substitute with ground chicken or beef)
- 2 cups Fresh spinach (can be replaced with kale or Swiss chard)
- 1 cup Heavy cream (half-and-half as a lighter option)
- 1 cup Shredded cheese (Mozzarella or Parmesan works well)
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced (can add more or less depending on preference)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1–2 tbsp Olive oil (used for cooking the garlic and turkey)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the skillet by heating olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add ground turkey to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Incorporate the spinach and cook until wilted.
- Make the sauce by pouring in the heavy cream and bringing to a simmer.
- Add the cheese and stir until melted and combined.
- Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet.
- Serve warm and enjoy your meal!
Notes
Choose a pasta that holds sauce well and don’t rush the garlic sauté; this step enhances flavor. Using freshly grated cheese offers a richer flavor.
