Creamy and Healthy Tuna Pasta Salad

A light, protein-rich pasta salad made with tuna, Greek yogurt dressing, fresh vegetables, and tender pasta, perfect for a quick lunch or picnic.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 3 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz dry pasta (shells or rotini), cooked to al dente
  • 1 can (5 oz) canned tuna, drained
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta and rinse briefly under cold water to stop cooking.
  3. Toss the pasta with a teaspoon of olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Combine the cooled pasta, drained tuna, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion in a large bowl.
  5. Whisk together Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss to combine.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Chill the salad for at least 20 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld. Reserve a small amount of dressing to refresh the salad before serving if it has been sitting for a while.
