Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups Cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Huckleberries
- 1 cup Whipped cream, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 8×8 inch baking dish to form a crust.
- Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth in a large bowl. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Fold in the huckleberries gently.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set.
- Cool the bars, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Top with whipped cream and extra huckleberries before serving.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps. Use fresh huckleberries for the best flavor, but frozen can also work. Chilling the bars is crucial for the texture.
