Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450 g) store-bought pizza dough, fresh or frozen, thawed
- 4 tbsp (60 g) unsalted butter, can use olive oil as an alternative
- 4 cloves garlic, minced, fresh garlic for best flavor
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped, can substitute with dried parsley
- 2 tbsp fresh oregano, finely chopped, can substitute with dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt, adjust according to taste
- Olive oil spray, as needed, can use cooking spray as an alternative
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. Add minced garlic, parsley, oregano, and salt, stirring well. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Prepare your work surface and roll out the pizza dough into a 10×12 inch rectangle. Cut the dough into 1-inch wide strips.
- Create each strip into a loose knot. Toss the knots gently in a bowl with half of the herb butter mixture.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket lightly with olive oil. Arrange the knots in a single layer without overcrowding them.
- Cook the knots for 4-5 minutes. After flipping them, air fry for another 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Brush the knots generously with the remaining herb butter while still hot for maximum flavor.
Notes
Use fresh herbs for the best flavor; do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure proper cooking.
