Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 4 tablespoons Garlic butter
- 1 lb Small potatoes (halved)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss the halved potatoes with salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons of garlic butter.
- Spread the potatoes out on a sheet pan and roast for 20 minutes.
- While the potatoes are roasting, cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- Add the steak bites to the sheet pan with the potatoes and drizzle with the remaining garlic butter.
- Return to the oven and roast for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the steak is cooked to your liking.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the steak is cooked to your desired doneness. Overcrowding the pan can lead to steamed potatoes, so ensure enough space for roasting.
