- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 pound Ground pork or turkey
- 4 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup Shredded carrots
- 2 cups Napa cabbage, chopped
- 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent. Stir in garlic and mushrooms, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Add ground pork or turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Pour in chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add shredded carrots, chopped cabbage, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until veggies are tender.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Ensure your pan is hot enough before adding the onion to achieve the right sauté. Use fresh produce for the best flavor.
