Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup yogurt (Greek or regular)
- 1 cup mixed fresh berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries)
- 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
- A sprinkle of granola or chia seeds for serving
Instructions
- Combine the yogurt and mixed berries in a mixing bowl. Gently fold the berries into the yogurt so they stay in small pieces and the mixture is evenly colored.
- Spoon the mixture into silicone molds or onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Use a small cookie scoop or teaspoon to portion even bites; silicone molds work best for easy removal.
- Freeze for at least 120 minutes until solid. Place molds or the tray flat in the freezer so bites freeze evenly and set completely.
- Remove the bites from the molds or break them off the sheet once frozen. If stuck, let sit at room temperature for a minute or run the mold under warm water briefly.
- Enjoy them as a snack or treat! Serve straight from the freezer or let sit a minute for a softer bite.
Notes
Use ripe, flavorful berries for the best taste; chop large strawberries small. For a smoother texture, lightly mash berries before folding into yogurt. Store in an airtight container or freezer bag with parchment between layers.
