Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Whisk the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, black pepper, salt, and dried oregano.
  2. Add steak: Place steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, turning to coat evenly.
  3. Chill to marinate: Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours for more flavor.
  4. Cook to your liking: Remove the steak from marinade and grill or pan-cook to your desired doneness, using medium-high heat for a nice sear.
