- 1 medium fresh pineapple, peeled and cored
- 1–2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Cooking spray or oil (as needed)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Cut pineapple into rings about 1/2 inch thick.
- If desired, sprinkle pineapple rings with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Lightly coat grill grates with cooking spray or oil.
- Place pineapple rings on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until grill marks appear and pineapple is heated through.
- Optionally drizzle with honey or maple syrup before serving.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, use ripe pineapple and avoid cutting rings too thin to maintain texture. Store grilled pineapple in an airtight container.
