Grilled Cajun Corn on the Cob

A vibrant and delicious side dish that brings a spicy kick to any meal with sweet corn coated in buttery Cajun seasoning.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears Corn, fresh, preferably in-season
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, can substitute with olive oil for a lighter option
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning, adjust according to spice preference
  • Salt, to taste, enhances flavor
  • Lime Wedges, for serving, adds zest and brightness

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, ensuring it’s hot enough to give the corn a nice char.
  2. Prepare the corn by husking it and removing any silk to expose the tender kernels.
  3. Make Cajun butter by melting the butter in a small bowl and mixing in the Cajun seasoning thoroughly.
  4. Brush the corn with the Cajun butter mixture, ensuring even coating for maximum flavor.
  5. Grill the corn on the grill for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until slightly charred and tender.
  6. Season and serve the corn immediately with a sprinkle of salt and lime wedges for added zing.

Notes

Use fresh, in-season corn for the best flavor. Consider adding fresh herbs or cheese on top for extra flavor post-grilling.
