Ingredients
Scale
- 1 Ripe pineapple (Make sure it is ripe for the best flavor.)
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar (Dark brown sugar can be used for a richer flavor.)
- 1 tablespoon Melted butter (Can substitute with coconut oil for a tropical twist.)
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (optional; adds warm spices for extra depth.)
- Fresh mint (for garnish, optional; complements the dish visually and flavor-wise.)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Cut the pineapple into thick slices, removing the skin and core.
- Combine brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Brush the mixture onto both sides of the pineapple slices.
- Place the pineapple slices on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until caramelized and grill marks appear.
- Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh mint if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
Brush the brown sugar mixture generously on both sides to ensure even flavor and caramelization. Consider serving with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an indulgent dessert.
