Ingredients

- 1–1½ cups cooked ham, diced
- 1–1½ cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 4 oz cream cheese or ricotta cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 package puff pastry sheets (thawed, usually 2 sheets)
- 1 large egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
- Mix diced ham, chopped spinach, cream cheese, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold over the pastry to create triangles or rectangles and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Don’t overfill the pastry. Keep pastry cold until ready to bake for best results. Assemble and freeze for later use.
