Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a mixing bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into four uniform patties about three-quarters inch thick.
  3. Preheat a grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the patties for three to four minutes per side or until desired doneness, flipping once.
  5. Toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet until golden and warmed through.
  6. Assemble the burgers with toppings and serve immediately.
