Korean BBQ Beef Meatball Sliders

A unique twist on classic sliders, these Korean BBQ Beef Meatball Sliders feature juicy beef meatballs infused with rich Korean flavors, served on soft buns.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground beef (Use 80/20 beef for juiciness)
  • ¼ cup Soy sauce (Low-sodium soy sauce can be used for less saltiness)
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar (Use light or dark brown sugar for varied sweetness)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (Minced garlic adds depth of flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (Fresh grated ginger is preferred)
  • 2 stalks Green onions (Chopped for garnish and flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil (Enhances the overall taste)
  • 8 Soft slider buns (Choose a fluffy variety for best texture)
  • 1 cup Lettuce (Boston or butter lettuce works well)
  • 1 cup Sliced cucumbers (For a crunchy, refreshing contrast)
  • ½ cup Korean BBQ sauce (For drizzling; adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients in a bowl: combine ground beef, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green onions. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  3. Cook the meatballs: Heat a skillet over medium heat, add a little sesame oil, and cook the meatballs until browned and cooked through, approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
  4. Prepare the slider buns: While the meatballs are cooking, toast them lightly on a skillet or in the oven.
  5. Assemble the sliders: Once cooked, place a meatball on each bun, adding lettuce, cucumber slices, and a drizzle of Korean BBQ sauce.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Korean BBQ Beef Meatball Sliders!

Notes

For enhanced flavor, let the meat mixture marinate for 30 minutes before forming meatballs. Use a meat thermometer to ensure meatballs reach an internal temperature of 160°F for safe consumption.
