Las Vegas Beef Sushi Rolls

Las Vegas Beef Sushi Rolls are an indulgent sushi dish that combines tender beef with classic sushi ingredients. This unique sushi roll showcases the vibrant flavors and textures found in each bite.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Beef (thinly sliced, flank steak or sirloin for best results)
  • 4 sheets Nori (seaweed, available at most grocery stores or Asian markets)
  • 2 cups Sushi rice (short-grain rice is preferred for better stickiness)
  • 1 Avocado (sliced, choose ripe avocados for creaminess)
  • 1 Cucumber (julienned, adds crunch and freshness)
  • Soy sauce (for serving, choose low-sodium varieties if preferred)
  • Creamy sauce (to taste, mix mayonnaise with sriracha or favorite dressing)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish, adds texture and visual appeal)

Instructions

  1. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions. Allow it to cool.
  2. Lay a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
  3. Arrange slices of beef, avocado, and cucumber in a line across the rice.
  4. Carefully roll the sushi away from you, pressing firmly to keep the filling inside.
  5. Seal the edge of the nori with a little water.
  6. Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces.
  7. Drizzle with creamy sauce and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  8. Serve with soy sauce for dipping.

Notes

Ensure sushi rice is cooled to room temperature to prevent overcooking the nori. Use a sharp knife to slice the rolls to avoid squishing them. Wet your hands when handling sushi rice to prevent sticking.
