  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg, lemon juice, and lemon zest until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the fresh blueberries, then drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden, then allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use room-temperature butter for proper creaming. Gently fold blueberries to prevent breaking.
