Mango Shaved Ice

A refreshing dessert made from blended frozen mango, perfect for beating the heat.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Chamoy sauce (optional for drizzling on top)
  • 1 tablespoon Tajín seasoning (other fruit seasonings can be substituted)
  • Fresh mango cubes (as desired, enhances presentation and flavor)
  • 1 Tamarind candy straw (adds a tangy twist)

Instructions

  1. Blend the frozen mango chunks and water until smooth.
  2. Drizzle chamoy sauce in the bottom of a glass.
  3. Pour half of the mango mixture into the glass over the chamoy.
  4. Sprinkle Tajín seasoning on top.
  5. Layer the remaining mango mixture and add more chamoy if desired.
  6. Top with fresh mango cubes and insert a tamarind candy straw.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Use ripe mangoes for a sweeter flavor and adjust the amount of water for desired consistency.
