Mojito Mocktail

A refreshing nonalcoholic cocktail blending fresh mint, lime juice, simple syrup, and soda water.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 large serving or 2 small servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 to 12 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 3/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 4 to 6 ounces chilled soda water
  • Cracked or cubed ice, to fill glass
  • Mint sprig and lime wedge, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Muddle mint leaves with lime juice and simple syrup in a sturdy glass to release oils gently.
  2. Press lightly and rotate the muddler twice or thrice to bruise the mint without shredding it excessively.
  3. Fill the glass with ice until almost full.
  4. Top with chilled soda water, pouring gently to preserve carbonation and lift aromatics.
  5. Stir briefly to combine ingredients without breaking down the ice too quickly.
  6. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a lime wedge positioned on the glass rim.
  7. Serve immediately to enjoy peak effervescence.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best aroma and taste. Muddling gently prevents bitterness from the mint.
