One-Pot Honey Garlic BBQ Chicken Pasta

A flavorful and comforting dish combining tender chicken, pasta, and a sweet tangy sauce, all cooked in one pot for easy cleanup.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, diced
  • 12 oz Pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • ½ tsp Chili Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced chicken, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder; cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in pasta and cover; cook according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes, until al dente.
  6. Reduce heat to low; mix in milk, barbecue sauce, and honey until combined.
  7. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving hot.

Notes

For best results, don’t overcook the pasta; it should be al dente. For extra flavor, consider adding sautéed vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli.
