Ingredients

  • 1 package (3 oz) orange gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the gelatin in a mixing bowl with 1 cup boiling water and stir until fully dissolved.
  2. Add 1 cup cold water and mix well to combine.
  3. Chill the gelatin mixture until slightly thickened but not fully set.
  4. Combine in a large bowl mandarin oranges, mini marshmallows, whipped topping, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
  5. Fold the thickened gelatin into the fruit and marshmallow mixture until evenly incorporated.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator until set, about 2 hours, then serve chilled.

Notes

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days for best freshness. Add extra whipped topping just before serving to refresh the texture.
