- 1 package (3 oz) orange gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Dissolve the gelatin in a mixing bowl with 1 cup boiling water and stir until fully dissolved.
- Add 1 cup cold water and mix well to combine.
- Chill the gelatin mixture until slightly thickened but not fully set.
- Combine in a large bowl mandarin oranges, mini marshmallows, whipped topping, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
- Fold the thickened gelatin into the fruit and marshmallow mixture until evenly incorporated.
- Chill in the refrigerator until set, about 2 hours, then serve chilled.
Notes
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days for best freshness. Add extra whipped topping just before serving to refresh the texture.
