- 8 oz white chocolate, chopped or in chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut (for coating)
Instructions
- Melt the white chocolate by placing it in a mixing bowl over simmering water or microwave in bursts, stirring until smooth.
- Mix the orange cream by whisking heavy cream, orange juice, and orange zest in another bowl until fragrant.
- Combine the melted chocolate into the cream mixture and stir until smooth and glossy.
- Add powdered sugar gradually, folding until thick enough to hold shape but still scoopable.
- Chill the mixture for about 30 minutes until firm enough to handle.
- Shape into small balls by scooping portions and rolling them between hands.
- Coat each ball in shredded coconut, pressing gently to stick.
- Final chill the truffles on a tray in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use high-quality white chocolate for best results. Adjust powdered sugar if mixture is too soft. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
