Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Dry pasta (your choice)
  • 2 cups Fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup Pine nuts (or walnuts)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta according to package instructions until al dente, using well-salted water for seasoning.
  2. Combine basil, Parmesan, pine nuts, and garlic in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
  3. Add olive oil gradually while the processor runs to emulsify and smooth the mixture.
  4. Season the pesto with salt and pepper to taste, tasting and adjusting for balance.
