- 1 Pre-made pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup Toasted pecans, chopped (can substitute with walnuts if desired)
- 1 cup Heavy whipping cream (for whipping; ensure it’s chilled)
- 1 cup Powdered sugar (adjust for sweetness)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (pure vanilla is recommended)
- 1 cup Vanilla pudding mix (instant mix works best)
- 2 cups Milk (whole or low-fat milk is suitable)
Instructions
- Prepare the pie crust according to package instructions and allow it to cool completely.
- Mix the vanilla pudding mix and milk in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Let it sit for a few minutes until it thickens.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract in another bowl until soft peaks form.
- Combine the whipped cream into the vanilla pudding mixture until combined.
- Add half of the toasted pecans evenly over the pie crust.
- Pour the pudding and whipped cream mixture over the pecans in the pie crust.
- Top with the remaining pecans and drizzle with additional whipped cream if desired.
- Chill the pie for at least 2-3 hours before serving.
Notes
Ensure the heavy cream is well chilled for best whipping results. Toast the pecans in advance to enhance their flavor.
