- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup ground pistachios
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a cake pan.
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and ground pistachios in another bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, and mix until just combined.
- Stir in vanilla extract. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Use room-temperature butter and eggs for a smoother batter. Store wrapped at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for 4–5 days.
